The Wedding & Honeymoon Show will take place in the Main Hall (Hall 1) at the RDS over the weekend of Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd, September 2012 11.30 – 5.30pm.

This event is Ireland’s largest Wedding Show and the longest established. The Wedding & Honeymoon Show attracts over 250 Exhibitors, catering for all aspects of planning a wedding and honeymoon destinations.

The RDS has an ambiance and buzz that only a city centre venue can create, it is spacious so visitors can shop around in comfort, enjoy fully professional catwalk shows on the Ground Floor and wedding fashions for Mums and guests going to the wedding on the Irish Wedding Diary Fashion Style Stage on the Mezzanine Level.

The RDS main hall will be transformed into Ireland’s largest wedding showcase. Enjoy meeting up to 250 selected leading wedding specialists showcasing many inspirational ideas and trends for your wedding and romantic honeymoon destinations. From venues to menus, flowers, cakes, video, limousines, honeymoon travel agents etc., In a few hours a couple can book their entire wedding & honeymoon having met face to face with their professional service providers who will cater for their special day and romantic honeymoon destinations.

As many show exhibitors offer special discounts and offers, the show can save time, money and is stress free. In the present climate a number of exhibitors are offering exclusive discount packages to engaged couples who visit the show. It is a great wedding shopping day out for all.

The RDS is Ireland’s most prestigious exhibition venue which is wheelchair accessible with wide aisles and a lift to the Mezzanine level.

The Wedding & Honeymoon Show spectacular Catwalk Shows will showcase over 100 bridal gowns from a selection of Silhouette styles to Traditional and Contempary styles, with stunning bridesmaids and wedding fashion styles for mums and guests attending your wedding. Introducing a special collection of new styles and shades for the groom and his wedding party. All gowns featured on the catwalk can be viewed at the bridal stands, giving brides a unique opportunity to meet face to face with the bridal boutiques and designers also meet with the wedding fashion boutiques and hat designers. The catwalk shows are produced by a leading choreographer and a team of professional bridal models.

The Mezzanine Level is always a hive of activity with up to 35 Exhibitors displaying a multitude of new ideas for wedding gifts, entertainment, silk flowers, stationary with a difference and also visit the new Hotel Décor Area.

For many reasons some Brides and Grooms choose to go abroad for their wedding, combing their special day and honeymoon. Philip will pick a mum from the audience who will be treated to a make-up and hairstyle makeover and walk away looking fab. Philip will also pick a groom from the audience to model one groom's formal wear on stage and he will receive a special gift.
